Ride on the Wild Side

Yes, it is that time again for the grand Kingsville Noon Lions Club Ride on the Wild Side Bike Tour.  If you haven’t started training for this event yet, you better start peddling.  This will be the 7th Annual Spring Bike Tour, Saturday, April 17, 2010.  It is hosted by the Kingsville Noon Lions Club and proceeds go to the Texas Lions Camp for Disabled Children.

There are several bike routes.  All the bike routes begin on the beautiful King Ranch.  The King Ranch route takes you around the King Ranch loop where you can leisurely enjoy the beauty of nature or peddle hard so you can get out on the open road for the longer routes.  The longer and more challenging routes will take you on a grand tour of Kleberg County.

Some years the longer routes are a true challenge for all riders.  There will be SAG stations on each route.  You will want to get details from the Lions web page.  Also, get your registration information right there on the Lions’ web page.  I hope to see everyone out there for the Ride on the Wild Side Bike Tour.  It is for a good cause plus you can sure burn up some calories on any of these routes.
